Enjoy the aerial views of the tropical forest and a variety of wildlife on a canopy tour. Seek adventure by renting catamarans, snorkeling equipment and paddleboats.
For shopping, plan a visit to La Noria, a community of handicraft workers who make leather belts, sandals, purses, saddles, clay pottery and exquisite furniture. This area is also home to the Vinata Santa Clara factory, the only distillery in the state of Sinaloa that produces mezcal.
For a unique dining experience, try parrillada des mariscos, a selection of seafood grilled over flowing coals. Nightlife is abundant and lively in the modern district of Zona Dorada (Golden Zone). Developed in the 1960s, it boasts a large variety of restaurants, museums, major hotels, great shops, bars and restaurants scattered along the idyllic beaches.
