Delta and Endeavor have integrated recruiting and pilot selection activities under the Propel brand, streamlining the journey to a Delta pilot career. With our single-interview approach,  participants only need to interview once with Propel to progress to Endeavor and  potentially transition to mainline Delta as a first officer once they meet requirements.

Collegiate & CFI Pilot Career Path

Students at U.S.-based universities with flight education programs accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI), and graduates of select affiliate flight schools may apply for Propel once they are actively instructing as a certified flight instructor (CFI) and meet the Propel selection criteria.

Propel affiliate flight schools:
Eligible applicants can apply here. We strongly recommend taking your time and having your application reviewed before submitting.
  • Student or graduate of a U.S.-based 4-year AABI accredited flight education program or completed flight training at a Propel affiliate flight school
  • Actively flight instructing as a certified flight instructor and within 12 months of meeting R-ATP/ATP requirements
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Must hold a current passport or other travel documents enabling the bearer to freely exit and re-enter the U.S. (multiple re-entry status)
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
  • (For current Delta employees) – Completion of 2 years (24 total months) as an active Delta Air Lines employee. Must have been on an active status within the six months prior to application.  Must be in good standing.

Propel Scholarship Pilot Path

The Propel Scholarship Path is a destination for a select number of Propel referrals from Delta affiliate organizations. Successful candidates are eligible for Propel scholarships providing financial assistance to complete flight training and mentorship. Student pilots will complete Private, Instrument, Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certifications at a Delta authorized flight school 

To be eligible for the Propel Scholarship Path, someone must be nominated from one of Delta’s affiliate organizations. Weitere Anforderungen:

Delta Air Lines employees can transition their careers and pursue their dreams of becoming a Delta pilot. Successful candidates are eligible for financial scholarships and extended leave of absence to complete flight training and mentorship from an active Delta pilot.  Delta Propel bietet Bewerbern einen optimierten Ausbildungsweg, um ihre Flugzulassungen zu erhalten, Erfahrung zu sammeln und alle Anforderungen zu erfüllen, um Delta-Pilot zu werden.

Alle Kandidaten auf dem Piloten-Karrierepfad „Company“ müssen die Qualifizierungs- und Testaspekte der aktuellen Piloteinstellung von Delta erfüllen. Vollberechtigte Mitarbeiter müssen die folgenden Anforderungen erfüllen, um für den Pilot-Karrierepfad „Company“ berücksichtigt zu werden:

  • Completion of 2 years (24 total months) as an active Delta Air Lines, and been on active status within six months prior to application. Muss ein unbescholtener Mitarbeiter sein
  • Bevorzugt mit Zertifikat FAA Private Pilot (Fixed Wing), das ein kommerzielles Pilotzertifikat (Single Engine-Fixed Wing) nicht überschreiten darf
    • If attending a Company Pathway affiliate school, the maximum qualification you may have is a Commercial Single Engine Certificate
    • If not already attending a affiliate school, the maximum qualification you may have is a Private Pilot Certificate
  • 100 Stunden festgehaltene Flugzeit insgesamt (bevorzugt) in einem Starrflügelflugzeug
  • Abschluss eines 4-jährigen College-Studiums bevorzugt
  • Im Besitz einer FCC-Sprechfunkbetreiberlizenz zum Zeitpunkt des Einstellungsgesprächs
  • Gültiges Gesundheitszeugnis der FAA (FAA First Class Medical Certificate)
  • Keine Verbrechen
  • Keine DUI/DWI innerhalb der letzten 10 Jahre
  • Hatte noch nie ein Bewerbungsgespräch außerhalb dieses Programms für eine Pilotenposition bei Delta Air Lines

Propel bietet mit nur einem Bewerbungsgespräch einen garantierten Weg ins Cockpit bei Delta und beseitigt durch eine Zwischenstation bei Endeavor Air die Hürde, eine Anstellung bei einer regionalen Fluggesellschaft finden zu müssen. Sobald Sie die ATP-Mindestvoraussetzungen erreicht haben, werden Sie von Endeavor Air eingestellt. Über das Career Advancement Program (CAP) von Endeavor, das mindestens 24 Monate aktiven Dienst als Flugkapitän umfasst, setzen Sie dann Ihren Weg fort, der Sie schließlich zu Delta führt.
